Recently, Vietnam Global Transport Joint Stock Company successfully organized the receiving, handling, and transportation of the first heavy cargo shipment for the Technology Conversion Project of the Cement Grinding System of Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company.
The shipment had a total volume of 3,000 CBM, including grinding rollers weighing 95 tons and gearboxes weighing 110 tons. The cargo was received directly from a foreign vessel onto barges at the Ha Long Bay anchorage area in Quang Ninh Province, then transshipped to Ninh Phuc Port in Ninh Binh Province.
At Ninh Phuc Port, the equipment was loaded onto road transport vehicles and delivered to the plant construction site in Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province.
The Technology Conversion Project for the cement grinding-to-packing system of Vicem Bim Son, with a capacity of 1.5 million tons of cement per year, includes investment in key equipment such as one cement mill, a vertical roller mill, with a capacity of approximately 210 tons per hour for OPC cement or 250 tons per hour for PCB40 cement.
The project also includes one five-compartment cement silo with a storage capacity of approximately 30,000 tons, two bagging machines located beneath the cement silo with a capacity of 2 x 120 tons per hour, and one bulk cement dispatch line with a capacity of 150 tons per hour.
